A holiday-themed, fun run through the streets of Boston,
beginning and ending at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
This is a fun run and will not be timed.

- DISTANCE:
- Approximately 2.4 miles
- LOCATION:
- Faneuil Hall Marketplace (Boston)
- COURSE:
- This fun run will be held at jogging pace, and will be run between 10 and 13 minutes per mile at a controlled pace. (Due to traffic regulations, this event is unable to accept walkers.) Participants will assemble in front of Faneuil Hall (east side, facing Quincy Market), and the course will include a loop around Boston Common before making its way back to Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Quincy Market. - TIME:
- Run begins at 5:30 p.m. with party to follow.
- EVENT DAY BIB and T-SHIRT PICK-UP
- Opens at 4:00 p.m. and continues until 5:20 p.m. in the Upper Rotunda at Faneuil Hall Marketplace (also known as Quincy Market).

- POST-RUN PARTY:
- 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at
Ned Devine's Irish Pub and Parris lounge and nightclub, located within the Quincy Market building at Faneuil Hall Marketplace (Boston) near the Upper Rotunda.
No one under 21-years old will be admitted.
Proper identification, indicating a minimum age of 21 years old, is required for entrance into Ned Devine's Irish Pub and Parris lounge and nightclub. Please carry your ID with you. No exceptions can be made.
- AMENITIES and HIGHLIGHTS:
- Food and DJ entertainment following the run at the post event party. Official entrants will be given one beverage ticket, affixed to their bib number, and light refreshments will be served. Additional beverages may be purchased.
Four-time Boston Marathon champion and running legend Bill Rodgers, along with representatives of the B.A.A., will present the 2009 Will Cloney Award (service within the running industry) and Jock Semple Award (local athlete who has made an impact within running) at the post-event party.
As is the tradition at the Bill Rodgers Jingle Bell Run, holiday dress and costumes are encouraged but not required!

- A portion of all registration fees will be donated to CASA: Court Appointed Special Advocates for Boston and Newington (Conn.) High School Cross Country Boosters Scholarship: The Bill Rodgers Foundation sponsors two $500 scholarship awards in honor of Coach Frank D. O'Rourke. Rodgers, a member of the NHS Class of 1966 and perhaps the most famous distance runner of all time, has established these awards to recognize two student athletes who best exemplify the outstanding qualities of character and athletic achievement encouraged and fostered by his mentor, Coach O'Rourke.

Restrooms are located within Faneuil Hall Marketplace, but changing facilities and showers are not available.
The Bill Rodgers Running Center, located within Faneuil Hall Marketplace, will be collecting items for Toys for Tots (formerly known as the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation). Please bring an unwrapped gift with you and plan to drop it off before the Bill Rodgers Jingle Bell Run at the store, located in the North Market Building. Store employees will be on hand to receive your donation.

From The South - Drivers coming into Boston
- Take I-93 North to Exit 23 (Government Center)
- Stay in the left lane and turn left onto North Street at the end of the ramp.
- Turn left at the Dock Square garage and follow signs toward aquarium to the Southbound Surface Artery.
- Turn right at State Street.
- Continue three blocks and turn left onto Broad Street.
- The garage entrance for 75 State Street is on the right.
From The West - Drivers coming into Boston on the Masspike (I-90) Eastbound:
Mass Pike to I-93
- North (Exit 24B on left).
- Merge onto I-93 Northbound to enter the Central Artery Tunnel and proceed North about 1/2 mile underground to Exit 23.
- Stay in the left lane and turn left onto North Street at the end of the ramp.
- Turn left at the Dock Square garage and follow signs toward aquarium to the Southbound Surface Artery.
- Turn right at State Street.
- Continue three blocks and turn left onto Broad Street.
- The garage entrance for 75 State Street is on the right.
From the North - Drivers coming into Boston on 93 South
- I - 93 South to Exit 24A (Government Center).
- Follow signs for the Aquarium to Southbound Surface Artery.
- Turn right at State Street.
- Continue three blocks and turn left onto Broad Street.
